I love his emphasis on systems. I'm pretty good at blocking off "exercise time" on my schedule, but my takeaway is I need to focus constant little tweaks to my daily system where I can add another 100 kcal of movement here and there. Most good systems involve constant re-evaluation and incremental improvements that compound into total effects.
